
Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI)
This is one of the most widely used models. It classifies conflict-handling styles based on two dimensions: assertiveness and cooperativeness.

Competing | High assertiveness, low cooperativeness (win-lose) |
Collaborating | High assertiveness, high cooperativeness (win-win) |
Compromising | Moderate assertiveness and cooperativeness (split the difference) |
Avoiding | Low assertiveness, low cooperativeness (withdrawal) |
Accommodating | Low assertiveness, high cooperativeness (yielding) |
